چکیده
Introduction. Allergic reactions and side effects are a common consequence of drug use account for ~5% all hospital admissions. The co-occurrence ana phylactic shock acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is called Kounis synd rome (KS). Brief description . article analyzes the case ceftriaxone-induced KS in 56-year-old female patient with history anaphylactic after ampicillin therapy. was treated on an outpatient basis due to upper respiratory infection. diagnosed bronchitis, connection which antibiotic therapy azithromycin started. Due inefficiency canceled ceftriaxone 1 g 3,5 ml 1% lidocaine solution 2 times day prescribed. After first intramuscular injection, developed shock, stopped by intravenous administration prednisolone 120 mg, dexamethasone 8 mg adrenaline hydrochloride 1,0 ml. Almost immediately, ST segment elevation recorded, thrombolytic fortelyzin 15 performed. Coronary angiography revealed thrombotic occlusion left anterior descending artery segment. Further examination verified AMI patient. Discussion. This pathogenetically associated shock. However, available data state coronary system no morphologic characteristics thrombus do not make it possibelr define type KS. Conclusion. clinical indicates need thorough allergic anamnesis collection physicians any specialty prescribing medications taking into account.

Kounis syndrome: A primary cause for the anaphylactic shock.
In the important paper of Kuda et al. [1] published in ”Cardiology Journal” it was found that vasospasm-induced coronary flow reduction is a major contributory factor in anaphylactic ventricular dysfunction. The authors concluded that during anaphylaxis the ensuing left ventricular dysfunction is attributed mainly to coronary vasoconstriction-induced myocardial ischemia. These and other experim...

Anaphylactic shock, as a kind of distributive shock, is considered as a consequence of histamine induced vasodilatation with increased vascular permeability. Tachycardia is the early warning sign of shock and bradycardia is a rare manifestation of shock. A 78 year-old woman presented with shrimpinduced anaphylactic shock with bradycardia. She was treated by beta-blocker currently and further Th...

متن کاملKounis Syndrome together with Myocardial Bridging Leading to Acute Myocardial Infarction at Young Age
Kounis syndrome, also named as "allergic angina syndrome," is a diagnosis in which exposure to an allergen causes mostly coronary spasm and rarely plaque rupture, resulting in ischemic myocardial events. Myocardial bridging is defined as an intramural segment of a coronary artery and its systolic compression by overlying fibers. Myocardial bridging generally has a benign prognosis and mostly af...
